WORLD PLAYGROUND PROJECT



I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce you to World Playground Project, a not-for-profit organization specializing in arts education for youth.

Over the past few months I have been working
with this organization and a talented group of Grade 8 students from across Toronto to create a theatre piece on the topic of HIV/AIDS. The project is created by the youth and will serve as a means to educate their peers and the community about their experience of HIV/AIDS and prevention.

This venture will mirror a similar project in Cape Town, South Africa scheduled for July 2008.

On Sunday, December 9th, World Playground Project will be hosting its first-ever showcase and fundraiser!  It will be a great evening event full of youth and art and beverages and eats and theatre and much more!!
